While the user interface proves a bit out of date, the information presented is not. It is updated to include the latest caveats that are present in the exams.  Bottom line, the FAA exams DO contain questions that are there only to trip applicants up, not to measure your understanding of the topic - and those questions are presented and explained in this course.  Some of the topics required for this rating by the FAA are out of date in this day in age, but they are there to test your commitment to earning your rating. The reward of your rating will be well worth it, so stick with it.

As someone with a full time professional career, studying at my own pace was a priority.  I followed the syllabus and passed.  More important than just passing however, the information sank-in and I will retain it much longer than if I had tried to blitz through a weekend seminar.

King Schools' Instrument written course helped me pass my Written in 6 days with a 93, and now the practical test course helped me pass my Practical on the first attempt! Thanks again King Schools for the great course, and the great customer service!

I tried the Gleim course and it just did not have the explanations that John and Martha went through. I started working on taking the test over a year ago. I was not able to score good enough with Gleim to take the written test. I ordered the King course on the 6/25 and I was able to take and pass the writing on 7/22. I would have done better if I would have read the full question. Maybe King Schools will come out with a course on Reading the Full Questions. I will us King Schools for all of the other ratings that I plan on getting.

I was recommended this, I passed and would recommend this series to anyone for preparation for an FAA test.

Great course that reinforces what would be common sense if you were thinking about the issues while on the ground, but might cause lead to panic if you experienced them while in the air.

The video does seem a little dated, but let's be honest here the FAA hasn't been quick to chance anything. :).  I found all the information still applied and has calmed my nerves about my check ride.
