In fact, the FAA has recently gone through their entire database and changed every single test question and answer in order to eliminate test question memorization. 8. What is IFR, What Does IFR Stand For?
IFR stands for Instrument Flight Rules (as opposed to VFR, or Visual Flight Rules). This set of rules governs how a pilot flies when the weather is poor, and they cannot conduct the entire flight by simply looking out the window. Pilots must operate under Instrument Fight Rules when the weather is classified as IMC, or Instrument Meteorological Conditions. IMC means the conditions are poor enough that VFR flying cannot be done safely. To fly under IFR, both the pilot and the aircraft must be certified for IFR. This means that if the pilot and aircraft are IFR capable, they can operate safely in a wider variety of weather conditions and circumstances. An IFR rating is an extremely valuable safety tool for any pilot.

The course content was easy to review.  The dateness of layout and delivery was frustrating at times.  Chunking content is good when the approach is relevant not redundant.  Supplements, quick sheets, different review options for those with different learning styles would be more helpful.
