Helpful reminder
This course is a great reminder of good ifr practice ... Every ifr pilot should take it every 6 months or so.

Review Of IR course
A lot of information presented, seems to me this is the real life expectancy of the checkride.

The BEST Self-Study course!!
I decided to try the Instrument Written course after I saw several previews of Martha and John King's series on YouTube and I was very happy with what I purchased! I think it's absolutely necessary to understand the basis of the knowledge exam's questions, especially for the written. I'm by no means a student that can absorb knowledge efficiently just by reading it, so getting the graphic explanation was a must. I did the Sporty's course for the Private Pilot several years ago, however it could get very dry for me. I think that the Kings have a natural talent at presenting these courses and it clicks much better for me. The question database is decent with the King's, but I highly recommend a secondary course like the Gleim or Sheppard Air (Sheppard Air has by far the most up to date database, but Gleim has better software). The reason I say this is because the FAA will often reword questions and add new, more confusing questions to their database in order to fool even the most experienced pilots. Although King Schools has an adequate database, it may not be enough to get a 90 depending on what the PSI/CATS gods randomly generate for you. However, I don't believe using just the Gleim or just Sheppard Air would be enough to pass unless you're an extreme memorizer. To each their own, and I definitely believe in the King system!!

Course Completion Review
The course contained sufficient quantities of questions that I went into the exam feeling well-prepared to pass the exam.  The questions on the FAA exam were slightly different than those presented by King, but the concepts were well-covered throughout the course.  I liked that it was self-paced and the suggestions for Test Taking were very helpful.  I plan to use King for any future endorsements.

Great course!
I highly recommend this course. I used it as a supplement to my instructor and hearing the information from a different angle made everything come together for me in a very short period of time. I feel like anyone could benefit from this no matter how much or how little that you know before starting. I learned a few tricks to better understand the material and how to understand the tricky questions that the FAA throws in there.
