good course. time for an update?

Great overview of IFR planning and flying. While most of the course is presented with older video segments, the information is timeless.  I also enjoyed the "real world" scenarios presented in this course.  This gives the student some insight into what to expect while while preparing for and flying an IFR flight.
References to past aviation accidents help emphasize the importance of proper ADM and common sense.

By watching the PTS course showing Martha as a Instrument Rating Candidate, it re-enforced in me the confidence needed to successfully pass the Practical Test on the first attempt!

King Schools made it easy to learn and retain the information needed to be a successful and safe instrument rated pilot.

Really enjoyed this look at the checkride to come after passing my instrument written (thanks to another King Schools course...). Helped settle the nerves as I approach my checkride.  Thanks!

Course was excellent

Very helpful course for students, rusty pilots, and experienced pilots. Many good examples of common - and not so common occurrences and emergencies are well covered.

I thoroughly enjoyed the King School Instrument Course. It is very informative and helpful in walking you through how to successfully pass the exams and also how to be a safe instrument pilot. It is easy to navigate the course and the videos are easy to follow. They are very conversational and understandable.
