I have used Gleim, Jeppessen, and King Schools training programs in the past. King Schools is by far the best. While their videos can be cheesy at times, they do an excellent job of breaking down the material in easily understood, bite size chunks that you can easily work your way through. The test prep is exceptional and I was able to pass my exam on the first try. I highly recommend their course work for any level.

I have used king schools for both my PPL ( 2 years ago ) and now my instrument.   I went into both tests confident and knowing I would pass the test.   I used each exclusively and got the majority of my knowledge solely off these videos.   I would most definitely use them again.  Thanks John and Martha.

The pacing of the videos was a bit slow. Some areas I wanted to speed up the discussions. Since the aircraft sported a G1000 setup with autopilot, there wasn't as much attention given to hand flying and spacial awareness in the absence of the magenta line. Overall worth watching but start watching a couple weeks in advance of your checkride!

I tried many different programs for PPL and IFR.The King Videos are my favorite, it is explained in a way that I just get.

Once I turned to King Schools I never looked back and I'm looking forward to expanding my knowledge with King Schools

I’ve been out of the airplane for several decades. I am working on my currency and hoping to return to instructing soon. This video training although a bit long was very informative and educational.

Yes, I studied my butt off, but this course gave me the 99% of the information, and the framework to do it.  I really did enjoy this course.  Here's how I approached studying.  I went through the videos, AND took notes.  I occasionally supplemented with more internet research (mostly just because I was interested).  I then studied my notes and went back and re-watched a few video segments.  I took two of three required mock FAA tests as part of the course (three required for King sign-off to take FAA exam).  Then it happened.  Life got in the way, and I completely stopped for almost 2 years.  So, I went through the whole course again (parts had been updated).  I updated my notes as I went through it.  It was great review, and I definitely understood much more the second time. I restudied my notes and then took the 3 tests required to get King sign off.  Then as final review before FAA exam, I went back and re-answered all the questions that I had EVER missed (easy to get these) - did that until I understood them.  This course really did help me prepare, so much so, that I just bought the King Instrument Rating Practical Test Course.  Yes, I took the Instrument written before starting on the flying - I'm 1000% sure this knowledge will help me.Oh!!!  ONE IMPORTANT TIP - you can get a plugin for your browser that lets you speed up and slow down the videos (e.g., "Video Speed Controller" for chrome).  This is gold, especially for re-watching parts.  Hope that helps.
