I'm glad I took this course before starting CFI flying training because it highlights the extensive breadth and depth of knowledge required. The discussions are enligthening and the flight videos are very useful in understanding exactly what the FAA is looking for. My only suggestions are that more video could be added from GoPro type cameras mounted externally to the airplane (the videos were made in 1994) and some discussion of what happens next if a pink slip is received.  Overall, very good.

I have taught online courses for a university for 3 years and can recognize a gem when I see one.  This course really prepared me to take the FAA written exam.  Videos make the material on the exam fun to learn and very understandable.  I went through the practice test questions several times, keeping track of my missed questions.  It is easy with this program as missed questions are stored for you to review.  I scored a 95% on the test.  I recommend this online course to anyone who is a serious flying student.

Really good course. I was having trouble identifying what my problem on landing was. Now I know what to look for and more information on how to make it look the way I want it to. I am anxious to get up and see how my landings improve after watching this. I expect vast improvement. Thank  you.
