Concise, understandable and logical.

1. I found that using "customer" instead of "student" was annoying, was a major distraction, can cause confusion. CFIs have students; Commercial pilots have customers. The FAA issues Student Pilot Certificates NOT Customer Pilot Certificates.2. Some sections were nothing more that copy-and-paste montages from prior fixed wing instruction videos. I am sure that the Kings can update these videos for helicopter-only pilots. These montages cheapened the quality of instruction.3. Too much focus on fixed wing.Helicopters are different aircraft with some different concerns.In conclusion, constant use of airplanes as examples is poor instruction. It is confusing. I strongly recommend that y'all update your course and focus strictly on rotary wing aircraft. There are many, many CFIs who are helicopter only.

The course was great!  Easy to follow, and flexible.  The ability to submit a digital 8710 through the school made the entire process easy.

Been a CFI, for 46 years as well as Check Airman, TCE and Inspector and this is my 2nd FIRC. The helicopter course was interesting and educational. This is the third time I have taken the helicopter FIRC with King Schools.  It has been full of great information every time.  I would also like to give them credit for updating materials as regulations change!

I believe this course is very good for CFI's of all levels of experience. I am a retired Helicopter ATP, A&P, IA, CFI-I and DPE hence my new need for a FIRC. This one exceeded all my expectations and was more helicopter appropriate that the seminars, and training courses I have experienced in the past. Congratulations of a job well done!

Nothing new

As a long term King School participant and customer, I've always been more than satisfied with the King courses I've taken over the years.  In my experience, King Schools offers training that not only meets regulatory requirements, but is up to date and pertinent.  Each time I take a King course, I learn from it, retain it, and use the information in my day to day activities as a 10,500 hour Commercial Helicopter pilot and CFI.  Kudos to the King School training staff for allowing me to stay current and fresh.

This is my third CFI Renewal. I have taken the online refresher course each time and have noticed good improvements each time. The material provided is pertinent to the learning objective and provided me with information of the areas I need towork on to improve my instruction.

I like this course and always come away with new information and ideas but the downside of each lesson is you have to wait for the timer to run down to zero before it allows you to take the "end of lesson" test.  I often found myself finishing the lesson but having to wait for the timer to expire before being allowed to take the test.  Seems like a waste of time between finishing the lesson material and taking the test.  I would often go do something else and come back to the computer later after the time ran out.
