While the videos are definitely showing their age, I felt like all the information was still relevant.  Some people warned me that the videos could be a bit cheesy at times, but I found that I really liked them anyway.  They are easy to watch, make sense, and really helped me learn the material.  Some of the cheesy jokes actually made me laugh, especally the weight and balance mother in law jokes.

I like the format of the material.  It's really nice to be able to jump around and watch videos about anything you want instead of being stuck to just watching everything in order.

I really like how taking tests and practice tests works, Being able to go back and retake the tests and be exposed to new questions was very helpful.

I love the review questions.  It was great to be able to select a specifc topic to study or to go back and look at only question I have missed in the past.

Overall, I am very happy with this course and will highly recommend it to anyone.  I plan to continue my training with the instrument course next

John and Martha use a common theme - PAVE and CARE - in their instructional videos. These are things that can't be said enough to General Aviation pilots. Take these lessons to heart and become and remain a safer pilot.

Very helpful and educational, I would recommend this course to anyone who is wanting their private pilots license. I have used some free courses online, most of them were hard to understand or they did not explain things in detail. I liked the questions at the end of each topic and if I struggled with any answers, I just went back threw that topic again until I was able to answer all questions with 100%. I have also attended a ground school at a local airport in my area, and although it was in person it seemed as though they rushed threw things. After the course I had trouble understanding weight and balance, and issues using a flight computer. This King ground school explained these in detail and I was able to do several test exercises.

This is a great course to help you learn how to communicate in different airspaces. I did all of my Private Pilot training at a uncontrolled airport (except for the 2 times I went to a Class Delta), so I wanted to learn about how to communicate in controlled airspace’s and airports, so this was very helpful.
