Sorry to be harsh, but I was very disappointed.  I’m a 28 year air traffic controller and 16 year private/instrument pilot who’s worked in large and small terminals and a center.  This is absolutely the worst/most unrelated to the test course I’ve ever taken.  When I showed up for my test today, it was as if I had not studied one bit of what was on the test.  My score of 89 had absolutely nothing to do with this course.  It appeared as though the test had been updated but not the course.  I’ve used King courses for my private and instrument tests, they were great.  This one was not.  It was also cumbersome to go back and find anything specific for review.  In some of the videos John and Martha were about 20 years younger than in others.  I expected better from King.  Without my years of aviation experience to fall back on, I probably would’ve failed this test.

Someone suggested I see these videos 3 days before my Private Pilot test. I studied the books but was at 70% average on my practice test. I wish I had this tool sooner, I did watch all videos and passed the test with 87% just after 2 days. I would have loved to have more time to go through the videos with more time to get a Top Gun result. Truly a life saver tool, it made the test so much easier!
