The practical test course was an excellent review of what to expect and how to prepare for the instrument oral exam and check ride.  It was enjoyable to watch and it provides structure that helps mitigate test taking anxiety.  The examiner is very businesslike, but kind and understanding.  She sums it up by saying that the ultimate test of the applicant is whether the examiner would be comfortable sending her family with that pilot on an IFR flight.

This course was very easy to navigate and to comprehend, and it is very helpful in preparing someone for the Private Pilot Practical Test. The videos explained clearly what is required of a pilot to pass the test, and what the pilot should be able to know and do to feel confident in their abilities to pass the exam, and become an all around safe and competent pilot.

Finished King Schools Private course in about 3 weeks, took the test a week later and walked out with a passing grade!

The Takeoffs and Landings series is full of good advice for beginner pilots.

Having almost 1,300 hours I have had too many close calls but made it safely too the ground. This is a much needed part of my flying that wasn't there 30 years ago.
