Picked up some great pointers for common emergencies

Great presentation with real emotions and situational awareness.

Course seemed a bit dated.  Did not cover GPS or modern weather sources in depth.  Was fun to listen to John and Martha

This instrument course was great way to get a first hand look at how the IFR check ride is set up. It covers most of the basic information that needs to be learned and is a great refresher. Also, as a round dial panel pilot, I was pleased to see that the entire video explained things from the perspective of a analogue and G1000-type gauges. This is not the only thing to study before the check ride, there are still many details from the written test that you need to remember, but it is an excellent tool. The course talks a lot about risk management and that is the most valuable part.

King Schools has a great Private Pilot course that will help you pass. Only one star off for several dated videos, but content is very relevant.

properly prepares you for knowledge test and every day situations.  love the fact that i have all the material to go back over years in the future as refresher to things may forget or that will change since king schools will update.  took exam for first time yesterday and passed with 92% (missed 5 questions).  thanks
