I'm married with a wife and kids and a busy job in the construction industry, so my schedule is extremely unpredictable. I chose the online Private Pilot Ground School and Test Prep Course so I could study at my own pace any time I have my phone or I Pad. I really appreciate the whole course, but especially the mandatory practice tests at the end because they gave me terrific confidence before taking the actual test. I got a 90% the first try. KING Schools provides a thorough preparation program for the Private Pilot Ground Exam.  I am pleased with my results and was able to learn the material well with the King's help.  I'm glad I went with King Schools.

I found the course very helpful.  I wish that I had used the online version rather than the DVD computer-based.  I had a computer crash and had to get the program re-set and re-do a lot of material to complete the program.  While this was not a problem in itself, it took a lot of time, stretched out my completion time and had me spending more time re-completing the course than reviewing the areas I was weakest in.  So, I recommend everyone use the web-based program!

Well, I passed the written! At first, starting this journey to learn to fly, I was skeptical whether this wealth of knowledge was manageable as I was not able to attend a formal ground school. Then I found King Schools online ground school and their videos and to the point instruction really helped me achieve my goal. Thank you.

King Schools made it so that I could learn the knowledge needed for the FAA Knowledge Test at the pace I wanted to go.  It was very helpful taking practice exams set up the exact same way as the actual test.  Answering questions after each section also helped to make sure I had really absorbed the material. Overall I do not think there is a more convenient and cost effective way to prepare for the private pilot knowledge test.

If you are planing to take a course in anything about airplane don't waste your time with any other schools. I tried few before ending up with the King's. Knowledgeable teachers you can find a lot. Teachers who know how to teach and make your learning enjoyable only KING's school can do that.

I didn't have time to do a Part 141 ground school, so using this course prepared me for the Private Pilot Knowledge test. The material was laid out in an easy way to navigate and learn. After completing everything you'll get your test endorsement, I scored a 95% after going through all the questions a couple times. In addition to this course, I would also buy the FAA Knowledge Testing Supplement book (FAA-CT-8080-2G).  It's difficult to plot your course with an image on the computer screen.

Best videos explaining all of the intricacies in each subject area.  Easy to understand.  I have the Sporty's Private Pilot videos as well and find myself having to go to the books for clarification.
