All the material is there and is presented clearly and concisely by, apparently, your grandparents as they were in the 80s. If that doesn't bother you, it adds just enough charm to keep the whole thing from seeming too routine. On the other hand, while I'm sure it's a major challenge keeping abreast of all the developments in IFR technology, some of the material really does feel borderline obsolete. But then, the FAA is using charts on the test that you simply don't find in circulation anymore, so I guess they're just teaching to the test.
