The King School IFR course gave me the flexibility I needed to learn at home and at my own pace. I'm withholding 1 star only because of how tough the FAA exam was, compared to King's practice tests. The FAA test has some really confusing choices. Still, I did pass it on the first try thanks to Martha and John King.

I used KING for my private and now my IFR.  I passed my written, practicals and checkrides all on my first try.  Thanks John and Martha for all your help.

I first attempted the instrument exam right after my private pilot certificate check ride.  the results were not pretty.Fast forward 10 years later and I got the King schools course.  studied it like crazy and passed the written!

Using this and Gleim...I just passed the IRA with an 80% and right after took the FII and got an 86%. There were about 12 questions that I never saw from either studying source on the IRA. Overall, I started studying the Gleim book and watching the King videos exactly a week ago and passed two tests 7 days later. Felt like I could have done better on the IRA and most of the questions I got wrong were not in the King videos nor the Gleim book.

The King Schools course for the Instrument Rating Airplane written exam got me ready. The practice exams seemed a bit harder than the real thing, which was a relief. Thank you for getting me ready.

I just finished my IFR exam today with a passing score! I remember all the horror stories from other pilots about how hard the test is. Well Kings School course set up me up perfectly to walk into the testing room confident. Never thought I could understand this material but they do an outstanding job in explaining it. Will recommend to anybody looking at getting their IFR rating.

Some of your "Figures" need to be updated as they are very difficult to read, especially the weather maps.

I took an in-person instrument ground school about nine years ago, and I have to say that I have learned more from the King instrument ground school that I did in the in-person one.  Some of the segments are a little out dated, but the information throughout the course is very valuable and still practicable for today instrument flying.  I highly recommend it.
