Some FAA exam prep materials emphasize memorizing questions and answers rather than learning the theory.  This course TEACHES the concepts, with questions also covered quite well.

A lot of videos to go through covering a lot of info, and it took me a while as I kept stopping due to a busy work schedule, but finally got through it all and felt well prepared for the test.  But if you do go through, then do the practice exams, then go back and re-study what you missed, this course can be quite effective.

They say don’t fix it if it isn’t broke and King Schools is no different. I used King for my VFR knowledge test and it worked great. Very pleased with content and format.

I would strongly recommend KING schools for your instrument rating ground school as you will be able to adequately understand and comprehend all of the required and difficult concepts while always having fun learning.

The videos of subject matter are helpful for understanding the concepts.  However, the actual exam had ~80-90% new questions that i had never seen before.

The course walked me through all aspects of IFR flying. I was able to answer all of the questions of the written test with little problem. The more difficult questions, I was able to work out the solution, and eliminate one or both wrong answer choices.

The FAA is updating their database.  You really need to learn the material and be prepared to apply it, don't just memorize the answers to the practice tests here.  This course did a great job preparing me for the written by actually teaching me the inform
