It Works!
John and Martha do a very thorough job of covering all the topics required for you to master your instrument knowledge test.  They provide many tips, tricks, and memory aids in order to help you absorb and retain the information.  One of the features I like most about the course was the many options you had to move through the question bank in order to improve your skills.  You can sort by topic, by  learning statement codes, or simply by the questions you missed.  I received a 95% score on my first take, and there is not a chance that I could of done that without the help of this program.  Thanks John and Martha - wishing you continued success!

aviators are human
It's nice to know that even the best aviators are human. Thanks for sharing your experience and helping us lessor aviators benefit as well. I would be interested in your next appearance. Thanks, allen

Well Done!
The King School Course was excellent in preparing me to take the written Instrument exam.  I scored 93%.  The course's primary focus is teaching you how to answer the questions asked by the FAA, but I also learned the information necessary to pass in the process.  A secondary focus is to teach process/procedure for answering many of  the questions (breaking them into their parts and drawing out pictures).  For me, this was the more valuable aspect, but then my background is design engineering.  One still must restudy those subject areas where you struggled in the practice exams ( I took 4 practice exams before taking the FAA written).  I experienced about 25% new, but related questions from the ones presented in this course.  John's and Martha' presentations in each video are clear, concise, not boring and easily reviewed over and over again if needed (and I did).  The course lacks a lot of instruction on GPS and RNAV (one 30 minute segment), but the FAA written did not test me on more than 3 GPS/RNAV specific questions out of 65.  I would recommend this course to my friends and family who want to prepare for the Instrument Knowledge Exam.  Thanks and Well Done!

The right content for the test
I bought both the Sporty's and King School IFR programs and the King Schools content is vastly superior for the purposes of passing the test.  This course is very focused on teaching you the concepts needed to pass in detail with real examples from the real test.  They even tell you where the FAA has made mistakes so you can answer those questions correctly too!  Now if we could only get the FAA to update their test to reflect the realities of flying IFR today (less on ground based navigation systems and more on GPS), we would be set!

The same signs world over.
I travel a lot in Asia and the Middle East and all the signs are the  same. The course covers them well.

BEST COURSE ON THE MARKET!!
Prior to taking this course, I took one at my local flight school and also tried the two day course put on by American Flyers.  Neither of these helped me pass the test the first time.  The King Schools test was amazing, not only did it do an incredible job in describing how the IFR system works, it also kept me interested and had my full attention the entire time.  You guys made this tough subject a breeze, kudos to Mr. and Mrs. King.
