It takes a strong person to admit their wrongdoing

This one lesson course informs us to not be stupid when flying an airplane, and tells a story of how stupidity got in the way of intelligence for John and Martha King themselves in a dangerous way. Wonderful-five stars!

Fun and lighthearted but a subject to keep in mind.

I guess the world was moments away from having one less aviation training option. Kudos for fessing up to some really boneheaded decisions, the craziest of which was to solo a twin with no experience and no instruction. But amazingly, due to  spidey-sense flying skills, this was low down on the list of gotchas during the flight.

This is a great story by John and Martha to show that even experienced pilots can make poor decisions and you often don't know it was a bad idea until it is too late. Great lesson!

When studying for my private I remember being talked into a cross county flight that I new was not a good ideal which 20 minutes in I new I was in over my ability I did get back and decided it would be the last time I let anyone tlak me into when I should fly.
