We *ALL* can do stupid things in planes...that story was amazing though...

Speaking as an old RW Army Aviator - our war stories frequently began, "There I was, flying inverted, my Air Medals slapping me in the face..." and then the actual story (sometimes embellished, but not the important parts), the lessons learned, and frequently concluded with, "Well, any landing you can walk away from is at least a "B" maneuver." Hangar talk is an important way to learn. Thanks for sharing.
