Excellent explanation about  the basics to perform a crosswind landings .

Made sense.  A little more explanation of what you are doing with the rudders would be helpful.

Gives one plausible answer to the crab vs. slip controversy on landing: first crab, then slip.  I like it!  Should go a long way toward precision (repeatability) on crosswind landings.

I learned to fly in cessna 150s   when I transitioned to a Piper Warrior which I had just bought, the guy giving me my checkride wanted me crab into the crosswind....he didn't like the wing low method...until I did one and we had a perfect landing.
