Great course.  Most Garmin manuals teach you “what” the avionics do, with very limited “how to”  use the units.  The great value of this course course is that it teaches you the “how to” fly with the unit in real world scenarios.

Great training with tons of useful information for flying with the G1000.

A very well made series about all the different features of a Garmin G1000, even after flying a G1000 for close to 100 hours I was learning things about the FPL button and the emergency/redundencies they have.

The course broke down the aspects of flying with the G1000 into manageable segments so that they were easier to learn than if one only had a manual to go by. Being able to see which buttons were being operated helped very much.

The G1000 program helped me learn all the small details. As a CFI who teaches in a G1000, I thought I knew it well, but after taking this course (through a Liberty University Class) I am really able to know the small things about this massive system to help my students learn better.

I don't always fly with a G1000 so this course has helped me make the most of it when I do.  It pointed out features that really came in handy on my long Commercial cross country.  As a CFI I will recommend this course to help my students do the same.
