Non towered airport comm.

The first time I watched this course (yesterday), about two minutes from the end I got the revolving circle symbol. I have 50MB/second FIOS internet, so I don't know what happened, but it never did finish so I logged off. Also, on my Windows 7 machine, the video did not play on IE, but played on Firefox. I like the idea of being always up to date with internet training, but I really enjoy the seamless performance of DVD's so I will continue to order DVD's if I order any more courses.

Excellent discussion on the proper technique for landing in crosswinds, right down to the full deflection of ailerons into the wind upon landing. I have imprinted "Climb into a headwind, dive away from a tailwind" into many students' frontal cortex.

Crosswind landings
