I do all my training part 61 because I live very far from my flight school and can only be there once every other month therefore I self study all my ground school. I will not be doing another rating without getting the Kingschools dvd for it.

As a student pilot landing the plane seems so technical and dangerous. This helped take some of my nerves away.

I have attended in person FIRC's, and tried several online FIRC's over the years. King Schools is the only place that offers an online FIRC tailored to helicopter-CFI's. If you are dual rated, sure, you have other options. There are even some that will let you pay once and renew for life. But after taking the King Helicopter-FIRC for the second time, I can tell you it worth every dime! The quality of material, presentation, and ease of use make this one of the best FIRC's for any category of CFI. It's so easy, you can do the whole thing on your iPad!If you're a helicopter-only CFI, and you're looking for an easy to use online FIRC that actually presents material relevant to what you fly and teach in, without burying you in fixed-wing material you can't use, look no further.
