This training video was well explained, techniques were demonstrated thoroughly with detailed explanations, and in fact, presented in a manner which not only alleviated any anxiety, fear or trepidation regarding landing in crosswinds, but actually promoted a feeling of joyful anticipation. If only everything in life were so thoroughly explained!

I am just beginning to start my pursuit of a Private Pilot's License. I have flown aircraft before, both fixed and rotary wing, but that was back during the Vietnam era, and it was nothing official. This video was very easy to understand, was explained in simple terms and provided information that is a valuable part of the foundational knowledge-base of every pilot, as it is used not only on each and every take-off and landing, but during flight as well. I learned information I did not know, and will build on, and develop more as I progress in my studies.Any 'New Pilot' would do well to review this course several times.

Very easy to navigate and use.

This course taught me that you can accomplish short and soft field (although not specifically called out as such) but controlling power - stick to the power setting!  Thanks John and Martha.

Fantastic 1st hand view of an actual check-ride. Occasional comments from the examiner (and John) of what he was looking for in a response or action helped understand the "why" of a question or maneuver.

As long as you are methodical and put in the time to listen to the lectures and do the questions there is no way you will fail the test. The videos may seem a bit "old school" at times but frankly the FAA test is as old school as it gets. A great many questions are irrelevant in the times of glass cockpits in GA aircraft but that's the way it is. This is the only theory I had and it was more than sufficient. Great job by the Kings!
