This course is everything you need to prepare for the FAA written test. I'm very sastisfied with how concise the explanations of course material were, while still accounting for in depth details and neccessary information. I also liked the quizzes at the end of section, it definitely helped me reinforce what I had just learned.

Great job going over the details of what may be covered during the checkride and oral portions.

Although 73 yrs old and rejected by FAA for medical reasons, with only 5 actual hours in a Cessna 172, I purchased a Redbird TD-2 Sim and determined to learn to fly. I took the Garmin 1000 VFR course in 2018 and started up IFR 3 months ago. The course really helped me understand the process for utilizing the G1000 in the Redbird Sim. I repeated each course at least 3 times before moving on. I am utilizing the many Redbird GIFT scenarios and I will shortly start the King School IFR Ground School. I have achieved my basic goals of understanding the VFR / IFR principles, but I will repeat the courses for better mastery.

Although the course was informative and interesting, there were a couple of omissions from the curriculum. There was nothing covering weight & balance, and there was nothing covering ADS-B requirements. A few of the videos were very old and super low res. Still, it covered enough information, that it, with my ground lessons from my CFI, allowed me to ace my written.
