This instrument course was great way to get a first hand look at how the IFR check ride is set up. It covers most of the basic information that needs to be learned and is a great refresher. Also, as a round dial panel pilot, I was pleased to see that the entire video explained things from the perspective of a analogue and G1000-type gauges. This is not the only thing to study before the check ride, there are still many details from the written test that you need to remember, but it is an excellent tool. The course talks a lot about risk management and that is the most valuable part.

I found this course to be easy to follow, clear to understand and  educational.

Been a CFI, for 46 years as well as Check Airman, TCE and Inspector and this is my 2nd FIRC. The helicopter course was interesting and educational. King Schools has a great Private Pilot course that will help you pass. Only one star off for several dated videos, but content is very relevant.
