This course is no joke!

The CFI refresher course is well organized and flows well. With all but two modules I had to use more time than the FAA minimum because there is so much information to study. Don't plan on the minimum sixteen hours to complete, if you plan to get the most out of the course plan on at least 25 hours total. But if you spend the time you will be rewarded with a legitimate thorough CFI refresher course. I renewed with the KING course four years ago when and things have changed for the better, its better but will take more time. I'll come back in two years!
