Compared to Sportys videos, I would say this is way easier to understand thanks to the example videos provided where  you can see the plane during landing.

Course was well informed and very helpful.

This course was very informative and did prepare me well for the exam.

The key difference in this program that separated it from others for me was the explanation of the answers. Real content mastery comes from a comprehensive understanding of the material, not just rote memorization. Having the 'why' for why an answer is correct helped me retain the information so much more effectively.

This course was very informative.  Hopefully it's way more than I need for the actual test.

The video was produced in 1994 and it's now 2020 as I write this. The checkride oral exam seemed light on the fundamentals of instruction.  There were times when the scene would cut away to a "later-version" of John (several years later, but in the same shirt in front of a blue screen depicting the hangar space used for the oral exam) expounding upon an answer given to the DPE.  John seemed to revert into teaching mode instead of CFI applicant mode which made for a VERY distracting segment as if the viewer wouldn't notice the change.  I didn't appreciate the production trying to "fix" a shortfall in the original video and gives weight to the need of updating the entire experience.  The flight portions seemed to flow well, but it would have been nice to see a few more maneuvers than the basic minimum.  If you've watched the commercial check ride with Martha, this will be a step down in production quality, completeness and recency.
