This course and video package has been a life saver for me in keeping current and progressing at a slow/steady pace, as I navigated my way through completing a Statement of Demonstrated Ability (SODA waiver), Special Medical Flight Test for uncorrectable 20/400 vision in my right eye. If you're considering flying and you've got a bad eye (Amblyopia specifically), you MUST pre-plan for the SODA checkride! I was ready to solo and had not completed my medical, and got a very unpleasant surprise that seriously delayed my training. So- if you have a vision problem, start on your medical BEFORE you begin flight training as you'll be able to combine your "solo" with your SODA checkride, because landing the airplane is a requirement to proving you can see! :) King videos and test prep have kept me in the game even after major disappointment and facing 100 reasons to just put flying on hold. Thanks for having such a complete and self-directed program available!

Simple to use.  I like the short videos.  You can work on it a little each day

I just completed the Private Pilot Ground school & Test Prep Course and scored 93% on my actual exam. The teaching format was really effective for me. No fluff and filler, just the real stuff that you need to know and understand to prepare for the FAA Knowledge Test. I would highly recommend this course to anyone that wants to both pass the exam AND understand the content.

Course was a general feel of what to expect.

Loved the course.  I feel a few of the videos need updated with the technology of today.  "better video output).  The companion app would quite intermittently on me, however it would start up again easily where you left off.

Great program that really prepared me well to take the FAA knowledge exam. I highly recommend this program!

This course is absolutely one of the best, most comprehensive sources of preparation material you can find. The format and material presented are a great help in retaining the information needed to become a safe and proficient pilot and more importantly it helps to gain a higher level of understanding of the risk factors involved in each phase of flight, including mitigation strategies for those risks. Don't hesitate to buy this course, even if you're already a licensed pilot!
