I found the course to be a great primer on air navigation.

The "Making Your Own Rules" Course was an excellent reminder of the importance of establishing a personal minimums checklist and admitting to yourself on the ground that the hard decision of delaying or canceling a flight due to external constraints or buckling up and asking an instructor for some critiques on a refresher flight after some time away from the cockpit can save you from some much harder and more dangerous decisions in flight. very good and very informative

a little outdated, but gets the job done

I've been flying for 27 years and this was quite humbling to see how far I had slipped in my risk management. It was an excellent reminder to go back and take a cold, calculative look at my skills and abilities vs reality and conditions.
