This is a bit dated as we now have an amazing array of navigation aids for any GA cockpit.  Examples are  Stratus ESG and Stratus 3, especially connected with ForeFlight for a robust glass cockpit or redundancy if you insist on steam instrumentation.  These examples are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what is offered by aviation vendors, big and small.  Did I mention synthetic vision, 3D airport views, extension lines, breadcrumbs and on and on on actual VFR or IFR charts with appropriate Jepp plates where required.  Oh, how about onboard instant (less than 15 minutes old in most cases) weather, bogey location, elevation and direction, etc.

King Schools prepared me for the private pilot written exam better than I could have hoped. Not only did I pass, I got a 98%! Thank you John and Martha!

King got me through another FAA exam using solely their material.  Unfortunately this question bank wasn't as accurate as the last but still got me through none the less. I would touch up more on constant speed propeller ops and FAA regs. Thank you for another successful test score, will be using King Schools again and again!

Videos and questions were great and prepared me sufficiently.  Practice tests were accurate and key to my success.

The Kings provide a wealth of information.  However, the FAA has updated the Written Exam questions and answers yet the course does not seem to be keeping up.  I recently took the Written Exam and was surprised at how unprepared the course had left me.  My Check Ride will now be that much more difficult since all my missed questions will have to be reviewed orally.

This website and all review is very informative and teaches students a lot.
