easy to access and use

I've been freaked out about the checkride and this video gave me a good idea of what I should expect. I feel I'm better prepared for what to expect in the oral exam. Thank you for that.

This was a great review of nav systems, but needs updating to the newer GA systems available. FMS is no longer just for the airlines. The latest glass systems have all that and more.

However the information is good it’s an extremely outdated video

The King courses are always fun, engaging, and very informative. CFI practical test preparation was no different. I have done every King course from private up through CFI, and have always been impressed by the quality of their content, as well as their utmost professionalism. A+++ You will NOT be disappointed.

Everything worked great

I think this is th best one John King has done to date.

Very thorough covering all the topics and tailoring specifically to the FAA Knowledge Test; however, there are some concepts that need to have updated videos as it's a bit confusing with the change in terminology used by the FAA (i.e. AF/D is now known as the Chart Supplement). Also, some topics were taught very differently than I learned them originally from my ground school at my local flight school. Certain topics were very superficially taught in order to provide just enough info for the knowledge test, when in fact there is much more detail involved (i.e. weather concepts, etc).

All in all, great prep course for the knowledge test, but use other methods as well, as others will provide different memory aids for certain topics that might just stick better than some of the ones used here.
