King Schools did an excellent job preparing me for the FAA written exam. The course structure made it easy to study around a busy work and family schedule, and the practice exams closely reflected the style and wording of the actual test. The memory aids and explanations were especially helpful for retaining difficult topics like weather, airspace, and regulations.

I also appreciated the targeted review sections and the ability to focus on weaker subject areas before the exam. The course gave me the confidence to walk into the written feeling prepared, and I was able to score very well on the test.

Areas for improvement would be modernizing parts of the interface and improving session timeout handling during long practice/question review sessions. A few topics, especially VOR interpretation and some airport signage examples, could benefit from more real-world operational explanations in addition to the FAA-test-focused explanations.

Overall, I found the course very effective and would recommend it to other student pilots preparing for the FAA written exam.

Very easy to digest information. Questions after each video keeps information fresh in the mind. Practice test available to retake as frequently as you’d like.
