Although the course was informative and interesting, there were a couple of omissions from the curriculum. There was nothing covering weight & balance, and there was nothing covering ADS-B requirements. A few of the videos were very old and super low res. Still, it covered enough information, that it, with my ground lessons from my CFI, allowed me to ace my written.

Thanks a million!  The materials covered made the FAA written for Sport Pilot a snap!  Passed it the first go-around!

Good course, John and Martha are engaging. A few questions on the test specific to Weight Shift Control were not covered in the course.

Passed the SPA exam with 95.  John and Martha present the knowledge so that will understand, which is more important than memorizing.

Having the ability to go back and review material at my convenience was a great help.  The practice tests also helped a great deal preparing for the actual FAA test, in fact I found the practice tests harder than the actual test.

To prepare for the exam, I ordered both the Gleim and the King courses. I really had my heart set on a score of 100 because I new all of the material inside and out...at least the answers to all 500+ questions and the reasoning behind those answers. I was a little surprised to find about 5 questions that I really had no clue as to the answers. Still though, for me, the King course is the way to go. It was MUCH easier to understand than simply reading books.

This program guided me through the mine field of the unknown.  I had no previous experience in any of this and was overwhelmed until I watched the videos.  They key for me was retaking the practice exams constantly at the end.  It helped that they had places for explanation of the answers and reviews for those that I got wrong at first.  I go into my exam nervous, but knowing that I can do this.

even though a few items did not pertain to the sport pilot cert. i found that the test did the same thing????? all in all the presentation and subject matter was well done and made it easy to retain.

I started the Sport Pilot course on 6-17-2021 and completed it on 6-22-2021. The instruction was interesting and to the point. If you follow the program including the comprehensive question review and the practice exams you should pass the FAA written exam.  I took mine on 6-25-2021 and passed with a 95 percent.  I completed ground school and passed the FAA written exam in a total of 8 days. Well worth the price of this course.

Watched the online videos and did the module questions after each lesson. Went through the whole sport pilot powered parachute lessons and then took a week off to go away. Came home and took a practice test and scored 85% after a week away! So the knowledge is retained. Scheduled my FAA knowledge test and kept doing practice tests till time to take the real thing. Just got back from taking it and pleased to report I passed with a 93% score. Not bad for a 60 year old man!!!  This course will definitely prepare you. Thanks King schools!!
