Very thorough and well laid out course. Videos explain the content very well. I personally struggled with the flight planning and weight and balance portion. The videos made sense but when I went to answer exam questions I completely blanked out on how to figure those out. I also didn't realize I would need a flight computer and plotter so I didn't get to practice using them. I really enjoyed how fun the course was. Key items were repeated multiple times to reinforce the correct information.

Easy to follow with good examples of what to do / not to do.

I took this more for a review for the oral test, because after all, performing the maneuvers correctly takes practice.   It provided more than enough information - anything the instructor could ask you that's not specifically related to the aircraft you're doing the check ride in is covered.  Even if you're rusty on some maneuvers, this course explains how to approach them.  I felt very prepared going into my check ride, and passed on the first try.

I took your course in 1987 with Beta tapes and got a 100% and you sent me a Top Gun hat.  I never completed my Private Pilot License: life got in the way.  Second time around I got a 95%.  Great job.

Info easy to understand for anyone with zero prior aviation or flying experience!

Today I passed my knowledge test with a 92,  I was thrilled.  The course was excelent and explained difficult concepts in a clear manor.  I felt that the Kings were with me the whole way.  When you say you will ace it.  I sure did.  Much thanks.Tom

Copyright 1995.  Information updated through superimposed graphics where reg changes have been made since this was originally produced.  Found the information useful for review, but the presentation seemed dated.  Viewed on an iPad.  Found it hard to stop/start video to make notes and if stopped to take a break, lesson would not resume at stopping point.  Had to manually scroll to find my place.  Useful, but at 24 years old as of my viewing (2019), its needs an update

Good but dated. 4 of 5 stars - the data is as relevant today as the date of production but comes across as antiquated.
