Concepts were good.  Some of the details are a bit dated.  More focus on GPS navigation and approaches would be helpful.

The practical examples used when explaining the importance of avoiding terrain in instrument flight; particularly, in the Brown Field scenario, using approach plate info, even in VFR flight, was very useful and instructive.

Enjoyed watching older videos along with newer videos about the IFR environment.

Double-Down Excellent reminder about how to take full responsibility for planning snd decision-making as PIC BEFORE, DURING and AFTER Single-Pilot IFR flights!

The King Schools Instrument Rating Practical Test Course was thorough, realistic, meaningful, and motivational. It laid out exactly how to prepare myself for the real thing.
