Good tips for controlled landings in crosswinds!

I am returning to flying after 10 years, and live in a state with many windy days.  Very nice review and demonstration of use of ailerons, rudder, and power for directional control.

Its ok

John and Martha fill in all the blanks that a CFI might leave out.  I have a lot of epiphanies with their instruction and the "Crosswind Landings Made Easy" was not different.  I have a natural tendency to solely crab on final and my instructor wanted me to use aileron and rudder during final, John made feel a lot better that crabbing just before round out is acceptable.  Furthermore their explanation of just enough to balance made a difference.
