Important instruction on using the Garmin navigation equipment. Training enabled VFR pilots to benefit from the IFR navigation capabilities. While the videos use the 750, 650 owners can greatly benefit keeping in mind information on the 750's Default Navigation page is in two pages on the 650. To see the other page, the 650 user must tap the Map button at the bottom right corner of that window. Use the Back key to return to the navigation data. One other thing - before taking any of the lessons in the Exploring the Map Page Lesson, the 650 owner should first view the "Using the GTN 650 Default Nav and Map Pages" lesson. Lastly, I used the Garmin 650 training simulator on my iPad to duplicate what was being taught in each lesson. It's a good idea to set up the nav data King uses in each lesson. Time consuming but a lot more beneficial than just watching.
