Good course for a quick refresher on cross wind technique.  Particularly helpful if you are based in an airport that does not have multiple runway/wind direction choices.  I'm a little jealous though - my home airport usually has a healthy does of turbulence in the pattern and on approach to add spice to the crosswind.  You don't see that in the King video.

This is a great review tool and the visuals reinforce the lesson.

The King website has always been presented well. Easily understood and encouraging.

Another well structured presented course I learned a few things that I overlooked while studying in the manual and other materials. However though, I experience some video freezing and the audio continuing. The video keep quitting and restarting ie... quit during explanation of VOR with Mrs. King it froze and the audio kept going. I had to stop the course exit then restart to pick up where I left off.Nonetheless, overall I totally enjoyed the course.

Even if you have a logbook full of hours....it never hurts to review some things.  This one is a short and sweet review of Non-Towered Airport Operations.  All in all - an excellent way to get some hangar flying time in!

he video keep pausing but the Audio keep playing. this occurs just with in the last 15 to 20 mins. of the course. Nonetheless I thought it was a very well put together course and I gained more knowledge about how to make better educated decisions in how to avoid bad weather, more importantly how to make the call on if to fly or not fly.

Remembering the colors appropriate to backgrounds and inscriptions could be a little confusing; particularly after many years without actively flying. Great review; although, I would have enjoyed best a little longer review.

A very helpful video for the crosswind landing. As you view the video it allows you to think about the mechanics of how you need to put in the control inputs of the airplane to keep it banked into the wind without drifting towards the wind. This will be great to reflect on this learning while flying the airplane in an actual crosswind.
