Excellent Course! I have been with King since the late 70's. The FIRC was more challenging and lengthy than I anticipated. Great course, great content but prepare yourself and begin the course when your CFI Renewal window opens. Jim

Practical planning and safe flight for all.

Nice product to begin the process of getting back into flying.

Hoped to get a definitive sequence for practicing stalls but only  got an explanation (albeit a good explanation of stalls) of what they are and recovery actions.  Covered a lot of material that does not appear in check ride requirements.  Too much emphasis on spins.  For private pilot there is no requirement to spin or recover from a spin.  did spins with my CFI but don't think this video will help me pass my check ride.

I always renewed with an examiner.  The FIRC was very beneficial because of the knowledge review.  The broad spectrum of subjects keeps things interesting and makes for a better all around flight review.  I don't instruct full time and mostly perform flight reviews or aviation presentations at middle schools.  The course is good for someone not instructing every day also.

This course was a great capsule of really essential regs as a refresher for IFR.  Combined with the IFR with Confidence segment, was a really time efficient way to review.  Now it's ime to fly to get current again......
