Helps to organize oneself for the practical.

NIce review of the essential functions of the King KLN89B.  Thanks for illustrating its use on a real flight and for the tips on in flight updates to the flight plan.

Web site is great - just like being in a plane!

I scored a 100%, 97%, and 95% on the King practice exams. If you do extremely well on them, do not get confident, in the least. The real exam is easily twice as hard. 80% of the exam questions were on the sectional charts and airspace. I watched the King material for two weeks and aced the practice exams, but they were nothing like the real thing. Not even close.

I decided to purchase the King Private Pilot Ground School Course. It suited my needs and availability perfectly, and allowed me the ability to study at my pace. Both John and Martha have a very efficient and unique method of explaining and applying concepts.

I thought the preparation from the course work was excellent and I felt confident going into the exam.

Very good course., some good slogans to help remind you. "Pilots need to change goals when conditions change, land sooner, go elsewhere." "Goal orientated pilot behavior may be a risk factor in flight." Real nice aircraft views, from the rear on take offs and landing..ie what it looks like taking off without using sufficient right rudder, then using aeilerons.

Material and how it was presented was easy to follow.  Class was completed in less then 2 weeks and passed the test on the 1st attempt.

King's courses covered all the bases for the written exam. I went in feeling very confident that I knew what I needed to know. Many of the examples covered in the King's course were covered on the actual exam. I walked away only missing 5 questions. Thanks Kings!
