The course was very comprehensive.

I am continuously learning how to be a better/safer pilot. This course was complete; looking at planning departure, en-route, arrival and all things in the middle. I would definitely recommend this course to fellow pilots and students alike.

John does a fabulous job of communicating both what happens and the emotions of flight.

Would highly recommend.  There are a lot of small tips and nuances regarding how to be prepared for the oral portion.  I now have a better understanding of what to expect on my check ride and how to best prepare for it.

Would have liked to see a bit more about tailwheel aircraft.
