I have followed the same course of action from private certificate through instrument and now commercial, passing my commercial pilot practical yesterday! I use the King School's course, then review some books and regulations. The King courses give me a solid base of understanding without boring me to death like so many others I've tried. Onto CFI!!!

I have used King Courses for both my private pilot and instrument courses. I have always felt extremely well-prepared for the written exams and have provided an outstanding foundation for understanding the concepts necessary to pass the practical exams.My only criticism is that in the explanations for the questions following the individual modules and the practice exams, detail is lacking as to why the incorrect answers are wrong, often stating essentially that the answers are wrong because they’re not the right answer. However, the proper video module is available with each of the questions to review the material again without having to search for it.Overall, I have been extremely satisfied!
