If you follow the program you should have no problem getting a good score on the test.

It was very clearly presented.  I would like a little more discussion about transitioning from the crab on approach to the wing-low over the runway and exactly when that happens

I just completed the Garmin 430/530 course. The course was very informative and easy to understand. The concepts are conveniently divided and organized such that I am able to quickly find  specific videos for concepts I need to revisit. I also really like how the Garmin display is shown behind the instructors, so you can easily understand how the system operates as the instructors describe the concepts.
