My experience at King School was great! The video format is great for self pacing and review. I thought the practice questions were great memory aids and helped me do well on the Knowledge Exam. I would say that I was unique though, because my family is full of aviators and it has been a passion on mine long before I started the course. Therefore, I think the videos and course only touches upon the questions that appear on the Knowledge Exam, but do not give great detail and full understanding into the topics. I think so of the videos are a little dated and just give you the information you need to get the question right, but not be a well rounded pilot. For someone who is brand new to flying I fell like they will need to do lots of extra reading and researching beyond this course. That is my only non-positive thought on King Schools. Its a great place to start!

Great refresher

I passed the written (85), oral, and practical test for my PPL on the first go around! Having Kings really gives student pilots the upper hand when it comes to these examinations.

Not having any background but needing to pass the 107 drone exam, I took this course from Kings.  I was very pleased with how things were visually presented and easy to understand.  The material was challenging but not presented in a complicated way.  I liked that I could go back and re-watch videos, take as many exams or practice questions as I felt I needed.   It was easy targeting areas I felt I needed more help on and watching the material a second time.All of the material preps you for the 60 question exam and the visual examples are used on the exam as well.  The questions may not totally match the exam questions, but that's only because they are worded a little differently.  If you truly study the materials, you will understand the exam questions and should pass with out any troubles.  I took the exam and got a 88% on my score and felt confident before taking the exam I had the right tutoring for it.  I would highly recommend this easy to understand course from the Kings to all that are looking to get their airmen certificate for commercial drone use.

It was a great explanation of the many, initially confusing concepts of Instrument flight!
