This is a good refresher prior to getting back on a plane.  Crosswind is manageable if the pilot practices these techniques.  As the video points out - don't exceed the capabilities of the airplane and if need it find another airport that can be safer to land. Thanks!

I would pay $200 more for a hot blonde instructor.

It is an amazing story that could have ended in a different and unfortunate way.  I have been in situations that the little voice tells you not to do it before the problems shows up but decided to go ahead.  Of course things will go wrong.  Flying an aircraft takes training and good skills but additionally "COMMON SENSE".  Thanks for sharing your experience and ensuring that future pilots are aware of avoidable mishaps that could ruin a fun day.
