Are the courses current?

Warning: You can’t just memorize test questions and expect to pass your FAA Private Pilot - Helicopter Written Test. Why? The FAA used to make their test question banks publicly available; however, they have not done so for many years. In fact, the FAA has recently gone through their entire database and changed every single test question and answer in order to eliminate test question memorization. No one, including test prep educators, has access to the FAA question banks. To be a safe and competent pilot-in-command, and to pass your required tests, there is no shortcut. You must acquire the necessary pilot knowledge.

Is there a particular order to follow? Are some lessons easier than others?

How much time will it take to complete the course?

How do I find a FAA Medical Examiner to schedule my physical?

Check the FAA.gov website at http://www.faa.gov/pilots/amelocator/ to find an examiner. You need pass your physical before you can solo.
How do I get my WINGS credit for taking the course?

Best option for helicopter PPL

King schools was very clear in explaining topics and how the FAA will even try to trick you. On my actual exam, I did have a LOT of trick questions so I’m glad they went over it! My test was basically all emergency questions. Autorotation, engine failure, etc. glad I learned it before even though that was not one of the topics I studied the most when I was studying for my exam.
